Men's Cross Country Finishes Third At MASCAC Championships
Manyok paces Falcons with second place time of 26:25.66
Fitchburg, MA. – The Fitchburg State University men's cross country team placed third overall with a total of 73 points at the 2024 MASCAC Championships this afternoon at the Doyle Conservation Center.

How It Happened
Senior Taban Manyok (Lynn, MA) led the way for the Green and Gold, placing second overall with a time of 26:25.66 over the 8K layout, while freshman Samuel Edwards (Townsend, MA) followed in eighth place with a time of 26:55.80.
Junior Michael Burns (Worcester, MA) was next into the chute, registering a tenth-place time of 27:01.66, while senior Joshua Lancaster (Holden, MA) notched a 28th place time of 29:06.93.
Rounding out the top finishers for the Green and Gold were senior Casey LaCombe (South Hadley, MA), graduate student Andrew Bedard (Rutland, MA) and freshman Brendan Guenard (Andover, MA) with times of 30:11.75, 30:42.86 and 30:54.99 respectively.
