Women's Soccer Cruises Past Trailblazers
NORTH ADAMS, MA: Fitchburg State women's soccer took down the Trailblazers of MCLA this evening in conference action.
THE BASICS:

- Records: Fitchburg (2-10-3, 2-3-1 MASCAC), MCLA (2-12, 1-5 MASCAC)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Falcons struck for the first time in the 5th minute of the contest. Stella Liebler (Plainville, CT) would get some help on the goal from teammate Delia Fitzgerald (Foxboro, MA) to put them up 1-0. Fitzgerald attempted a shot of her own that was blocked straight back onto Liebler's foot, which she took and finished top shelf.
- Goal number two came in the 21st minute off a failed clear by the Trailblazers that found Adrianna Westcott's (Sayreville, NJ) foot to tap the ball over to Kendra Peretzman (Randolph, MA), who would also finish the shot in the top of the goal. Peretzman would add a second goal just eight minutes later in the 29th minute. This time, she would one touch a pass from Joanie Butler (Woburn, MA) from outside the 18 and finish just inside the right post to get the final of 3-0.
- Madison Dawkins (Haverhill, MA) got the win (2-9-1) without seeing a shot in the first half. Cassandra Pendleton (Ware, MA) would sub in for the second half and save all three shots she faced. Destiny Alexander Rivas was tagged with the loss (1-3) after allowing the three goals and making seven saves. The second half was tended by Mallory Amirian, who would make 11 saves on 11 shots faced.
