Women's Soccer Flies Past Rams On Senior Day
Westcott nets two goals of Green & Gold
Fitchburg, MA – The Fitchburg State women's soccer team defeated the Rams of Framingham State University, 5-0 this evening in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action from Elliot Field on senior day.

How It Happened
Fitchburg State opened the scoring in the eighth minute of action as junior Adrianna Westcott (Sayreville, NJ) collected a feed from classmates Sophia Moore (Killingly, CT) and Charlotte Meixsell (Boxford, MA) and fired a shot into the upper right corner for her fourth tally of the season for the 1-0 edge.
The Falcons doubled the advantage (2-0) nine minutes later when Meixsell gathered a pass from senior Kendra Peretzman (Randolph, MA) and deposited a shot in the upper left corner for her first tally of the 2024 campaign.
The Green and Gold upped the lead midway through the first half as Moore blasted a shot into the upper right corner for her first collegiate marker to make the score 3-0 going into the break.
Following the intermission, Fitchburg State extended the lead at the 46:06 mark with Peretzman threading a through ball to Westcott, who buried a shot into the right side of the net for her second tally of the contest for the 4-0 margin.
The Falcons secured the victory in the 80th minute of action when Peretzman fired a shot into the back of the net for her third goal on the year off an assist from sophomore Stella Liebler (Plainville, CT), resulting in the 5-0 final.
This evening was senior night and the Fitchburg State Women's Soccer team honored three seniors playing in their final regular season for their final regular season for their contributions to the program: #10 Katie Moran, #20 Kendra Peretzman and #28 Taylor Senecal.
