Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State freshman wide receiver Keyshawn McCurdy was recently selected Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Football Co-Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Sunday.
Freshman wideout nets first weekly honor on the season
Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State freshman wide receiver Keyshawn McCurdy was recently selected Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Football Co-Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Sunday.
The first-year wideout earns his first weekly accolade of the year after hauling in five passes for 107 yards and his first three collegiate touchdown receptions (8, 69 and 22 yards) in a 41-21 setback to Western Connecticut State on Saturday afternoon.
The Fitchburg State football team (1-8, 0-7 MASCAC) returns to action on Saturday as they travel to Westfield State for a MASCAC clash, starting at 12:00 PM.
