Peabody, MA native nets first weekly accolade of the season

Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State junior defensive end Dexter Brown (Peabody, MA) was recently selected Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Football Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Brown picked up his first weekly honor of the 2024 campaign after registering five tackles on four solo stops and one assisted tackle as well as one sack and two tackles for loss in the Falcons 26-6 victory over the Vermont State Castleton Spartans on Saturday.

The Fitchburg State football team returns to action on Saturday as they travel to Bridgewater State to take on the Bears in MASCAC action, starting at 12:00PM.
