HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  Fitchburg got the ball rolling in the first half by scoring first in the 37th minute. Justin Job (Worcester, MA) found himself on the back post for the goal after Sam Amara (Roslindale, MA) made a run down and found him with a great pass. The Bucs would tie it back up before the half was over in the 40th minute of a Ryan Butzbach goal that was saved off his own head. The ball then found the crossbar, and he followed up with the easy tap-in goal.

- The second half started with MMA going up 2-1 in the 46th minute after Brody Calvert made a great move inside the eight after a misplay by the Falcons keeper to score his 14th goal of the year. The Falcons would score the equalizer in the 83rd minute on a free kick just outside the eighteen that was put in by Anthony Oliveira-Dalicandro (Waltham, MA), marking his fifth of the season.

- Malcolm Edwards (Salem, MA) made 12 saves in the tie. Preston Joia saw just five shots on goal and made three saves.
