Men's Soccer Shutout by Lynx
LEXINGTON, MA: Fitchburg State men's soccer fell this afternoon to the Lynx of Lesley University in non-conference action.
THE BASICS:

- Records: Lesley (1-4), Fitchburg (2-3-1)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Lynx struck for the first time in the 23rd minute of the first half on an unassisted goal by Osmyn Atwood for his first of the season. They would tack on another before the half in the 28th minute on a through ball from Wassim Chaib to Anthony DeNicola.
- Lesley would add onto their lead in the 70th minute, making it 3-0 and the final. Chaib would get his own goal this time on a left-footed shot that found its way in off the far side post.
- Josiah Williams got the win for the Lynx (W, 1-2) after making all eight saves. Luke Speers (Collegeville, PA) got tagged with the loss (L, 0-1) after making four saves and two goals allowed.
