FITCHBURG, MA: The Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) released the 2024 All-Conference awards today, including major award winners. The Falcons men's soccer team posted four to the All-Conference Teams and two major award winners.

Zachariah Foster (Brockton, MA) earned the first of the two major awards. He was named the MASCAC Defensive Player of the Year and placed on the MASCAC First Team. Foster was all over the field all season long for the Falcons, at times seeming to play all three positions throughout each game. He had his highest offensive production this year, with six goals and one assist, including a game-winner. Foster helped Fitchburg keep teams to just 1.75 goals against and just 14 shots per game.

Justin Job (Worcester, MA) was the second major award recipient, named the MASCAC Rookie of the Year, and placed on the MASCAC First Team. Job finished the year with five goals and two assists for 12 points. He was one of the most clutch players on the field for the Falcons, with three of his five goals coming as game-winners.

Rounding out the selections of the Falcons to the MASCAC All-Conference teams are Anthony Oliveira-Dalicandro (Waltham, MA) and Joao Pedro Goncalves (Hyannis, MA). Both were named to the MASCAC Second Team. Oliveira-Dalicandro found the back of the net five times this season, with two game-winners and two assists. In his defensive position, Goncalves won't see many stats, but he scored one goal this season off a corner that he headed into the net.

All four of the student-athletes that were selected played a crucial role in the Falcons success this season. The team's 9-8-3, 3-2-2 MASCAC record helped them to a three-seed going into the postseason. They would host a MASCAC Quarterfinal that would be a decisive 4-0 win over Mass Maritime to move onto the MASCAC Semifinals, where they would fall to Westfield 4-2.
