HOW IT HAPPENED:

-  The Rams had an early opportunity to get on the board first on a penalty stroke, but Angelina Serra would pull the attempt off the right post. It would be the Falcons who get on the board first as the first quarter was winding down. After a penalty corner, Samantha Jones (Uxbridge, MA) would find Sophia Yates (Woodstock, VT) set up just to the left of the cage for the goal.

- Fitchburg would come back just a few minutes later and put in another. Jones would get her own after the ball was put into the air by her teammate Autumn Tibbetts (Lunenburg, MA).

- The Rams would strike first at the start of the second half. Finley Hogan would score her first of the season after teammate Emma Bailey drove to the net and found her set up on the back post. Framingham didn't take much time to knot the game back up at 2-2. Forty-eight seconds after their first, Mikayla Malmquist would score on her own blocked shot off of a Falcons defender's stick.

- The Falcons wouldn't go scoreless for long into the second half as they would regain the lead on a perfect pass from senior Jessica Morse (Leominster, MA). She would find Tibbetts in front of the net, putting them back up by one.

- Fitchburg would tack on another in the fourth quarter on a penalty corner. Alexis Raymond (Tewksbury, MA) would take the corner and find Yates for her second goal of the game.

- Jenna Morse (Leominster, MA) will pick up her first win in net for the Falcons, putting her at 1-3 on the young season. She would see seven shots on goal and make five saves. Kaitlyn Tello would suffer the loss, putting her at 0-3. She played a stellar game in net for the Rams, making 16 saves.
