Women's Lacrosse Takes Down UMass-Boston
NEWTON, MA: Fitchburg State women's lacrosse took down the Beacons of UMass-Boston this afternoon in non-conference action.
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After a 3-3 first quarter, the Falcons would use the next two quarters to go up 13-4. Fitchburg was paced by both Jessica St. George (Dracut, MA) and Nicole Orlowski (Ellington, MA). The pair combined for seven of the 13 goals, with Orlowski scoring a game-high four goals and two assists, with George netting another three goals and four draws.
- The Beacons would rally back in the fourth quarter all three goals. Teresa Sheedy led the way for UMass-Boston with two goals, two ground balls, and two caused turnovers.
- Caitlin Persson (Worcester, MA) (W, 2-0) got the win in net for the Falcons with an 11-save game. Laura Falandys (L, 0-2) was tagged with the loss after making four saves.
