How can we create healthier relationships with our devices? In this hands-on workshop, we’ll experiment with practical strategies for digital wellness—like setting up “Walden Zones,” adjusting phone settings to reduce distraction, and developing small rituals for screen-time balance. Students will leave with concrete tools to make technology more supportive of their values.

Join Freddy the Falcon on campus this fall at one of our Open House events on Oct. 4 and Oct. 25! Open House is a chance for you to see first-hand what it means to be a Fitchburg State Falcon. Learn more about your major; talk to athletic coaches; and choose between breakout sessions where you can learn about topics such as admission and financial aid, study abroad, and how our students are involved on campus.

A second chance prom is a do-over dance for those who didn’t get a chance to attend their high school prom as their true authentic selves, to attend with who they wanted to, or who felt as though they weren’t allowed to. The goal is to allow everyone to present the way they want in a safe place and to have fun. All are encouraged to dress in their favorite Gayla outfit that expresses who they are! Faculty, staff, students, and alumni are invited to attend.
