Women's Volleyball Upended By Saints In Non-Conference Tilt
Sardella & Griffiths collect six kills each for Green & Gold
Fitchburg, MA: The Fitchburg State Women's Volleyball team dropped a 3-0, straight set decision to the Saints of Emmanuel College this evening in non-conference action from the Parkinson Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Fitchburg State's offense was led by senior Gabrielle Griffiths (Sasebo, Japan) with a team-leading six kills, three digs, one solo block and two blocking assists, while sophomore setter Madison Keohane (Wakefield, MA) chipped in with a team best ten assists, one kill and one service ace for the Falcons. Defensively, junior Jessica Greco (Southington, CT) finished with a match leading 12 digs.
- For the Saints, sophomore Amber Hong (San Jose, CA) registered a match best seven kills, three service aces and 11 digs, while newcomer Addy Fry (Attleboro, MA) added a match leading 12 assists, two service aces and three digs. On the defensive end, freshman Sofia Petrucci (Huntersville, NC) netted 11 digs and one assist.
