Westfield, MA - The Fitchburg State University women's cross country team finished fifth overall at the 2025 MASCAC Women's Cross Country Championships with a total of 141 points this afternoon at Stanley Park, hosted by Westfield State.

How It Happened
Senior Skye Goba (Norton, MA) led the way for the Falcons, placing third overall with a time of 18:56.53 over the 5K layout, while junior Gwendolyn Connors (Ayer, MA) followed in 37th place with a time of 23:01.59.
Junior Alexis Toste (Dracut, MA) was next for the Green and Gold with a 50th place time of 24:23.95, while junior Trishannah Scott (Leominster, MA) entered the chute in 56th place with a time of 26:34.34
Rounding out the top Falcon efforts on the day were senior Cassandra Israelson (Saugus, MA) (57th), freshman Dehkontee Cooper (Haverhill, MA) (58th) and junior Taylor Crout (Boise, ID) (59th) with times of 28:02.00, 29:39 and 30:06.09 respectively.
