CASTLETON, VT: The Fitchburg State Women's Volleyball team dropped a pair of non-conference contests to the Warriors of Eastern Connecticut State and the Spartans of Castleton State this afternoon.

- Fitchburg State's offense was paced by senior outside hitter Stephanie Sardella (Billerica, MA) with a team-best nine kills, one assist, three service aces and 11 digs, while junior setter Mia Vestal (Wilmington, MA) chipped in with a team-leading 14 assists and two digs. Defensively, junior Jessica Greco (Southington, CT) finished with seven digs and one service ace.
- For the Warriors, newcomer Allegra Copeland (Beaumont, CA) finished with a match best ten kills one assist, three service aces, six digs and one blocking assist, while freshman setter Sonya Nielson (Waterford, WI) added a match-leading 14 assists, five service aces and three digs. On the defensive end, freshman Laura Mosca (Glastonbury, CT) registered 11 digs, two kills and three service aces.

- Fitchburg State's offense was led by sophomore Gwynneth Norman (Keene, NH) with a team-best ten kills, one dig, one solo block and two blocking assists, while sophomore setter Madison Keohane (Wakefield, MA) added a team-leading ten assists, one kill, two service aces and nine digs. Defensively, Greco finished with 16 digs and two assists.
- For the Spartans, senior Sam Ford ()) netted a match best 12 kills, one service ace, one assist two blocking assists and four digs, while senior setter Alondra Rojas () added a best leading 38 assists, six kills, four service aces and 14 digs. On the defensive end, senior Nicolette Vaughn () registered 21 digs and two assists.
