Bourassa & Monette Selected To USTFCCCA All-Region Team
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State Men's Outdoor Track & Field junior Liam Bourassa (Shirley, MA) and senior Cameron Monette (Winchendon, MA) were recently selected to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region team as announced by the USTFCCCA earlier this month.
Bourassa collected four All-Region accolades after finishing in the top five regionally in the javelin, hammer throw, discus and shot put, while ranking first nationally in the javelin, while Monette finished the season, ranking within the top five in the hammer throw to earn All-Region honors.
Top five individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to each member of a top three ranked relay team.
The Fitchburg State Men's Outdoor Track & Field team recently concluded their 2025 season last week as select members competed at the 2025 NCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, hosted by the Spire Institute.
