Women's Lacrosse Drops Quarterfinal to Rams
FRAMINGHAM, MA: The Fitchburg State women's lacrosse team fell in the MASCAC Quarterfinal against #3 Framingham State this evening, 21-6.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Falcons' Samantha Azzari (Haverhill, MA) got the game started at 12:05 in the first quarter. The Rams would respond with a five-goal run. Noelle Kennedy (Walpole, MA) would end the run with Fitchburg's second goal of the game with 3:38 left. Framingham would close out the first with two more goals, giving them a 7-2 advantage.
- The second quarter was an even affair. Framingham scored the first two of the quarter, making it 8-2. Breanna White (Peabody, MA) would net the third goal for Fitchburg. After one more Ram goal, the Falcons would then go on a three-goal run, started by Jessica St. George (Dracut, MA), followed by White for her second, and Delaney Ponder (E. Bridgewater, MA). Kelley DeBellis would end the first half with her third goal in the second quarter, making it 11-6.
- The Falcons wouldn't score the remainder of the game. The Rams would go on to score seven goals in the third quarter and another three in the fourth. Leah Green led the way for the Rams with seven goals and one assist.
