Women's Volleyball Drop Pair In Non-Conference Tri-Match
Vestal finishes with 14 assists for Green & Gold
Hartford, CT: The Fitchburg State Women's Volleyball team dropped a pair of non-conference contests to the University of Hartford Hawks and the Lyons of Mount Holyoke College this afternoon in a tri-match at the Chase Arena on the campus of the University of Hartford.

- Fitchburg State's offense was led by junior Hannah Azzari (Haverhill, MA) with a team-leading six kills, and five digs, while junior setter Mia Vestal (Wilmington, MA) added seven assists, one service ace and seven digs for the Falcons. Defensively, senior Stephanie Sardella (Billerica, MA) finished with six digs, one kill and assist.
- For the Hawks, junior Jordan Murphy (East Hampton, CT) finished with a match best 11 kills, one dig, one solo block and one blocking assist, while seniorsetter Kylee Connally (Dallas, TX) added a match-leading 17 assists, three service aces and four digs. On the defensive end, freshman Lucy Dieterlen (Dallas. TX) registered 17 digs and three service aces.

- Fitchburg State's offense was led by Sardella with a team-leading six kills, 14 digs, one assist, one service ace and one blocking assist, while Vestal chipped in with seven assists, one service ace and five digs. Defensively, sophomore Madison Keohane (Wakefield, MA) notched deven digs, eight assists and two service aces.
- For the Lyons, senior Madeline Barton (Brookfield, WI) collected a match-best 16 kills, one assist, five digs and one blocking assist, while sophomore setter Sonia Grey (Sharon, MA) added a match-leading 13 assists, one kill, one dig and one blocking assist. On the defensive side, senior Amelia Ringor (Lafeyette, IN) finished with 16 digs, one assist and four service aces.
