Join us for our free summer series of events on campus Thursdays in July. On July 31 we'll have bingo and trivia on the quad at 5:30 p.m. Bring a blanket and a folding chair and have a relaxing night under the stars on the quad*. All events are free and open to the public. Refreshments will be available for purchase, provided by Chartwells.

Come join the Admission Team for college readiness workshops, campus tours, some fun in the sun, and a BBQ lunch on Friday August 1 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. This event is designed to not only allow students to learn more about Fitchburg State, but prepare you for your college search process.

Our orientation programs are designed to prepare our incoming Falcons to get off to a great start in their time at Fitchburg State. These activities will familiarize you with what to expect from your on-campus experiences, from the classroom to the campus center, whether you're living in one of our residence halls or commuting. You will also learn about the array of support services we have created to help you achieve all of your goals at the university.

Human Resources and Payroll Services are having their bi-annual hiring training. This is an in person training session. On Tuesday, August 12, 2025 from 10 - 11 a.m. in Ellis White Lecture Hall.

Women's soccer alumni are invited to gather at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 17 at Elliot Field to play in our women's soccer alumni game or support us on the sidelines. Registration and warm-ups start at 9:30 a.m. and the game at 10 a.m.

Come gather to don your cleats, strap on the shin pads and take up your sticks. The alumni will take on the current field hockey roster. Immediately following the game, you are invited to join us for complimentary appetizers and mingling with the coaches and your fellow Falcons at Slattery’s.

We’re excited to invite you to the SSC Navigate Info and Training Day, scheduled for Monday, August 18 from 1 to 3 p.m. with an optional "open lab" hour from 3 to 4 p.m.

The Career Services and Advising Center invites faculty and staff to participate in the Career Champions program. This professional development program connects and engages faculty and staff who are actively assisting students in determining and reaching their career goals. The content of the program focuses on building knowledge of career development theories, learning strategies to incorporate career learning into your practice and creating a plan for implementing these strategies.
