Westfield, MA – The Fitchburg State University men’s cross-country team finished third overall at the 2025 MASCAC Men’s Cross Country Championship Meet with a total of 66 points at Stanley Park, hosted by Westfield State this morning.

FITCHBURG, MA: The Fitchburg State men’s soccer team ended its season with a tie with the Buccaneers of Mass Maritime in MASCAC action this evening, 2-2.

Westfield, MA. – The Fitchburg State field hockey team dropped a 2-1 decision to the Owls of Westfield State this afternoon in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action from Alumni Field.

Babson Park, MA. The Fitchburg State ice hockey team dropped a 3-2 decision to the Beavers of Babson College this afternoon in non-conference action from the Babson Skating Center.

FITCHBURG, MA: The Fitchburg State baseball team took down the Rams of Framingham State on Senior Day by a score of 12-6. The Falcons celebrated 15 seniors: Jason Bickford, Joseph DiCrosta, Cole DuHaime, Liam Goldstein, Joseph Hartnett, Nolan Hills, Jacob Hurrell, Matthew Kelly, Maxwell Kelly, Cameron May, Eric Mccallum, Michael Nazzaro, Jake Santulli, and Matthew Smith.

FRAMINGHAM, MA: The Fitchburg State baseball team dropped a pair of games to the Rams of Framingham State this afternoon in MASCAC action.  

FRANKLIN, MA: The Fitchburg State baseball team fell to the Bulldogs of Dean College this afternoon in non-conference action, 5-4.

FITCHBURG, MA: The Fitchburg State men’s basketball team narrowly fell to the Rams of Framingham State in conference action this afternoon by a score of 65-60.

SALEM, MA: In an intense MASCAC men's basketball game, the Fitchburg State Falcons were narrowly defeated by Salem State with a final score of 92-89.

Springfield, MA – The Fitchburg State University men’s cross-country team sixth overall at the 2025 Western New England Golden Bear Invitational with a total of 214 points this morning, hosted by Western New England University.

FITCHBURG, MA: The Fitchburg State football team fell to the Bears of Bridgewater State in MASCAC action this afternoon, 38-18.

PAXTON, MA: The Fitchburg State football team fell to the AMCATS of Anna Maria College in MASCAC action this afternoon, 30-22.  

BUZZARDS BAY, MA: The Fitchburg State football team was defeated by the Buccaneers of Mass Maritime in MASCAC action this afternoon, 10-0.

WORCESTER, MA: The Fitchburg State football team defeated the Lancers of Worcester State this afternoon in MASCAC action, 21-6.

UTICA, NY: The Fitchburg State ice hockey team fell to the Utica University Pioneers by a score of 5-1 in the first round of the NCAA Division III tournament this afternoon. It was the Falcons’ third trip to the NCAA Tournament under Coach Dean Fuller, who completes his 41st season leading the program.

Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State senior defensemen Jack Johansen (Milford, NH) was selected to the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men’s Ice Hockey All-Conference Second Team as announced the conference Wednesday afternoon.

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State Men’s Outdoor Track & Field junior Liam Bourassa (Shirley, MA) and senior Cameron Monette (Winchendon, MA) were recently selected to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region team as announced by the USTFCCCA earlier this month.

Geneva, OH. – Fitchburg State junior Liam Bourassa (Shirley, MA) placed ninth overall in the javelin with a toss of 62.59 meters at the 2025 NCAA DIII Outdoor Track and Field National Championships this evening.

This week, the MASCAC chatted with three of Division III's top four javelin throwers, all from the MASCAC…Corey Stalters- Bridgewater State, Liam Bourassa- Fitchburg State, Liam Higgins- Mass. Maritime.

FITCHBURG, MA: The Fitchburg State Athletics Department and Executive Director of Athletics, Matt Burke, announced that Jonathan Mandeldove will be the University's 15th Head Women's Basketball Coach. As part of this position, Mandeldove will also assist the Director of Recreation, Brad Cohrs, in managing intramural sports programming, among other responsibilities.

North Dartmouth, MA. – The Fitchburg State University women’s cross country team returned to action today as they competed at the 2025 UMass Dartmouth Invitational at the Robert Dowd Cross Country Course.
