These activities will familiarize you with what to expect from your on-campus experiences, from the classroom to the campus center, whether you're living in one of our residence halls or commuting. You will also learn about the array of support services we have created to help you achieve all of your goals at the university. The following dates are scheduled:
- Jun 108:00 AMMen's Basketball Alumni Golf TournamentJoin former head men’s basketball coach (1978-1980) and 15-year NBA Coach Jimmy Todd ’76, ’81, alumni, current players, parents and friends of Falcon Men’s Basketball, for a great day of golf at Four Oaks Country Club, all to support the Men’s Basketball Endowment Fund at Fitchburg State.
- Jun 113:00 PMSGOCE: Ask Me AnythingDrop-in anytime during our open virtual hours 3 - 4 p.m. Join staff from the School of Graduate, Online and Continuing Education to ask any questions you have. You may "drop-in" virtually at any time during this open session. There is no formal format to this event- we're here to help you!

- Jun 139:00 AMOff Campus: Veteran Inc 20th Annual Stand DownThrough the Stand Down initiative, veterans are connected with vital assistance programs to support healthy and fulfilling civilian lives. With over 150 public and private sector service providers in attendance, this event offers comprehensive resources tailored to veterans’ needs.

- Jun 239:00 AMAlumni Blue Line Ice Hockey Golf TournamentJoin coach Dean Fuller, alumni, current players, parents and friends of Falcon Hockey, for a great day of golf at Northern Spy in Townsend, all to support the Blue Line Booster Club at Fitchburg State.
- Jul 48:30 AMFitchburg Civic Days: 4th of July ParadePLEASE JOIN US for the Fitchburg Civic Days 4th of July Parade!
- Jul 166:00 PMAlumni Falcons at Cape Cod: Reception at the Cape Cod Museum of ArtJoin alumni, Bob ’72, ’75 and Cathey (Weisse) ’74 Portrie, for a private viewing of the museum’s main exhibits, Mark Chester Photographs: Sublime to Ridiculous, Loo-Loos: Restroom Gender Signs, the Photography of Mark Chester, Carmen Cicero Drawings and Watercolors, Tales of Intrigue, Danger and Humor and finally Recent Acquisitions: A CCMoA Permanent Collection Exhibition. Docents will be available for tours through the sculpture garden, galleries, and education center. This event includes light hors d’oeuvres, white wine and soft drinks.
- Jul 176:00 PMAlumni Falcons on Cape Cod: Sesuit Harbor Dinner CruiseAlumni and friends are invited to join the Alumni Association for a Sesuit Harbor Sunset Dinner Cruise. Choose from a number of delicious dinner options. There is a children's menu for kids 10 years old and younger. Cash bar (cash only). Boarding begins at 6 p.m., boat leaves promptly at 6:30 p.m. This cruise is a smoke free experience at all times. Space is limited and this event sells out quickly.

- Jul 268:00 AMOff Campus: Run to Home Base 5KFitchburg State University’s Director Nolan Buck and others will participate in the 5K Run to Home Base. All proceeds benefit Home Base, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the mental and physical health of veterans. The Run to Home Base, presented by RTX, offers individuals and teams a unique opportunity to participate in a 9K run or 5K run/walk while fundraising to support our mission! The race routes weave through some of Boston's most scenic neighborhoods and ends with participants crossing home plate at historic Fenway. The Run to Home Base is our most critical annual fundraiser, providing vital funds for the clinical care and support for our Veterans and Families who are impacted by the invisible wounds of service.
- Aug 110:00 AMCollege Search Kickoff and BBQCome join the Admission Team for college readiness workshops, campus tours, some fun in the sun, and a BBQ lunch on Friday August 1 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. This event is designed to not only allow students to learn more about Fitchburg State, but prepare you for your college search process.

- Aug 89:00 AMHousing and Residential Services presents: First Look FridayAre you a first-year student? Do you want to see your room prior to your arrival in the fall? Come to this event, where visitors may see the size and layout of their rooms, visit common areas, meet future classmates, and more.
- Aug 209:00 AMCSA: Career Champions ProgramThe Career Services and Advising Center invites faculty and staff to participate in the Career Champions program. This professional development program connects and engages faculty and staff who are actively assisting students in determining and reaching their career goals. The content of the program focuses on building knowledge of career development theories, learning strategies to incorporate career learning into your practice and creating a plan for implementing these strategies.
- Sep 1–3Fall Orientation - Falcon ExperienceThe Falcon Experience is our fall orientation and will take place Monday, Sept. 1 - Wednesday, Sept. 3. More details to follow.
