Men’s Soccer Blows Past Trailblazers
NORTH ADAMS, MA: The Fitchburg State men's soccer team defeated the Trailblazers of MCLA in MASCAC action this evening, 5-1.
THE BASICS:

- Records: Fitchburg (4-7-2, 1-3-1 MASCAC), MCLA (3-8, 1-4 MASCAC)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- MCLA got on the board first, scoring their only goal in the 5th minute of the game. Kyle Cardoso found the back of the net for the second time this season, with Daniel Mosquera credited with the assist.
- The Falcons closed out the first half with two unanswered goals. The first came just under 30 seconds after the Trailblazers. Anthony Oliveira-Dalicandro (Waltham, MA) scored the first of two goals in the game at 5:31 to tie it up. The second came from Rick Da Moura (Boston, MA) for his third of the season, with Oliveira-Dalicandro credited with the assist.
- The Falcons dominated the second half as they scored three more goals. Oliveira-Dalicandro scored first in the 75th minute for his second of the game and fifth of the season. A few minutes later, Sam Amara (Roslindale, MA) made it 4-1 with his third goal of the year. The last goal of the game was scored by Cesar Pinelo (Watertown, MA), his first career goal.
- Tristan White (Tewksbury, MA) continued his winning ways in goal with a three-save performance, putting him at 3-2-1 this season. Oliver Le Lacheur suffered the loss (3-8) after making ten saves on 15 shots faced.
