Women's Volleyball Defeats Bulldogs In Straight Sets
Norman registers team-best ten kills
Fitchburg, MA: The Fitchburg State Women's Volleyball team earned a 3-0, straight set victory over the Bulldogs of Dean College this evening in non-conference action at the Parkinson Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Fitchburg State's offense was paced by sophomore Gwynneth Norman (Keene, NH) with a team-leading ten kills, one solo block and one blocking assists, while sophomore setter Madison Keohane (Wakefield, MA) added a team-best 18 assists and two digs. Defensively, sophomore Maribelis Alcantara (Salem, MA) finished with a team-leading 16 digs, two service aces and five kills for the Falcons.
- For the Bulldogs sophomore Maddy Seymour (Simsbury, CT) collected a match-leading 11 kills, three service aces and 16t digs, while junior Emma Simiscalchi (Huntington, NY) registered a match-best 17 assists, one kill and three digs. On the defensive end, senior Skylar Raskevitz (Easthampton, MA) ended the match with ten digs, one kill and two service aces.
