The Falcons scored again on their next drive after a bad snap on a punt and a penalty gave them the ball on the Worcester four-yard line. This time, Marchitelli scored with his legs, rushing for two yards to make it 14-0.
- Worcester would get on the board late in the first quarter with a one-yard touchdown run for Jermaine Norfleet.
- The scoring ended in the last seconds of the second quarter when the Lancer quarterback threw a hail mary into the end zone that found the hand of Elijah Zaire McKnight (Tracy, CA), who is very dangerous with the football in hand. He returned the interception 85 yards before being run down, but he looked to his right and saw teammate Jan Valls (Worcester, MA), who ran the remaining 15 yards for the touchdown.
