Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State senior Abigail Murphy (Quincy, Mass.) was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.
The fourth-year Falcon collected her second weekly honor of the 2022 season after placing 61st overall with a time of 24:17.2 over the 6K layout at the 2022 NCAA DIII East Regional Championships, hosted by Bowdoin on Saturday.
The Fitchburg State Women's Cross Country recently concluded its 2022 season, placing 17th overall at the 2022 NCAA DIII East Regional Championships at Bowdoin College on Saturday.
