- Score: Plymouth 3, Fitchburg 1 (Game One). Plymouth 10, Fitchburg 1 (Game Two).

- Records: Plymouth (13-17), Fitchburg (11-19)

HOW IT HAPPENED: Game One

-  This low scoring affair had the Panthers up 1-0 from the third inning until the fifth. Keira Larson was responsible for their first run in the third after hitting an RBI single and did it again in the fifth to give her team the 2-0 lead. The Falcons would get on the board in the bottom half of the fifth inning. It started with Molly Grass (Rockland, MA) breaking the career doubles record. She would later score on a sacrifice fly by Julia Cooper (Lumberton, NJ).

- Plymouth would add the final run in the top of the seventh on another RBI single by Larson. The hit gave her three for the game and three RBIs.

- Alyssa Wilson (W, 2-4) pitched a great game for the Panthers, going all seven innings while allowing just three hits, one earned run, and striking out eight. For the Falcons, Sarah Cahill (Mansfield, MA) suffered the loss, falling to 4-6 on the season. She went all seven innings for Fitchburg while surrendering 10 hits, three earned runs, and five strikeouts.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

HOW IT HAPPENED: Game Two

Plymouth State got things going in the top of the first inning. Mia Ly took advantage of her first at-bat of the day by hitting an RBI double. They added on in the second when leadoff hitter Cayleigh Adams brought home two on a single down the left field line. Adams would get another RBI after being walked in the fourth to make the score 4-0. Fitchburg got on the board with an error by the Panthers defense.

- Plymouth would put the game way in the top of the sixth when they put up a five spot. After leading 5-1, the five-run inning put Plymouth above the run rule. The sixth was highlighted by a Lauren Laudani double to right center that brought in two.
