Women's Soccer Clipped By Cougars In Non-Conference Action
Dawkins and Pendleton combine for nine saves for the Green and Gold
Worcester, Mass. – The Fitchburg State women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 setback to the Cougars of Clark University this evening in non-conference action from Granger Field.

How It Happened
Clark opened the scoring at the 39:53 mark as junior Gabriella Herivaux (Canton, MA) settled a feed from newcomer Madeline Reeves (Denver, CO) and fired a shot into the left side of the net for her third tally on the season to make the score 1-0.
The Cougars doubled the lead four minutes later when sophomore Amanda Leiva (Palmetto Bay, FL) deposited a shot into the back of the net for her second score of the 2024 campaign for the 2-0 edge going into the break.
Following the intermission, the host secured the victory in the 52nd minute of action with Herivaux converting her second marker of the contest off assists from freshmen Georgia Louis (West Hartford, CT) and Selene Hammad (Franklin, MA), resulting in the 3-0 final.
