Randolph, VT. – The Fitchburg State University women's cross country team placed fourth overall at the 2024 Silloway Maple Syrup Challenge with a total of 85 points this morning.

How It Happened

Junior Skye Goba (Norton, MA) paced the Falcons, finishing 17th overall with a time of 21:41.07 over the 5K course, while sophomore Gwendolyn Connors (Ayer, MA) entered the chute with a time of 23:45.67 after placing 23rd overall.

Freshman Amanda King (Townsend, MA) was next for the Green and Gold, placing 31st overall at 25:10.19, while sophomore Alexis Toste (Dracut, MA)) followed in 33rd place with a time of 25:42.19.

Rounding out the top seven finishers for the Falcons were junior Julia Arena (Shrewsbury, MA) (27:34.90), classmate Aria DiCato (Fitchburg, MA) (28:06.22), junior Trishannah Scott (Leominster, MA) (29:12.09) in 42nd, 44th and 47th place respectively.
