Women's Cross Country Finishes Ninth At Pop Crowell Invite
Goba leads the way for Falcons with a 29th place time of 26:14
Wenham, MA. – The Fitchburg State University women's cross country team placed 29th overall at the 2024 Pop Crowell Invite with a total of 229 points this morning, hosted by Gordon College.

How It Happened
Junior Skye Goba (Norton, MA) led the way for the Green and Gold, finishing 29th overall with a time of 26:14 over the 6K layout, while freshman Amanda King (Townsend, MA) (50t)was next for the Falcons, crossing the line at 29:25.
Sophomore Alexis Toste (Dracut, MA) followed in 53rd with a time of 29:54, while junior Trishannah Scott (Leominster, MA) entered the chute at 32:08 with a 61st place effort.
Rounding out the top six finishers for Fitchburg State were Julia Arena (Shrewsbury, MA) (33:10) and sophomore Taylor Crout (Boise, ID) (34:51).
