Keene, NH. – The Fitchburg State University women's cross country team placed 22nd overall with a total of 651 points at the 2024 Keene State Invitational this afternoon at the Owls Athletic Complex.

How It Happened
Sophomore Gwendolyn Connors (Ayer, MA) led the for the Falcons, placing 191st with a time of 23:42.50 over the 5K layout, while newcomer Amanda King (Townsend, MA) followed in 195th place with a time of 24:01.30
Sophomore Alexis Toste (Dracut, MA) was next into the chute, crossing the line at 24:16.00, while junior Julia Arena (Shrewsbury, MA) followed at 24:33.80. Sophomore Taylor Crout (Boise, ID) rounded out the Falcons top finishers on the day with a time of 28:22.70.

- Katie Tuttle of Williams won the 2024 Keene State Invitational with a time 17:55.30
- Fitchburg State placed 21st overall at the 2023 Keene State Invitational with a total of 519 points
