Men's Basketball Falls Short to Rams on Senior Day
FITCHBURG, MA: The Fitchburg State men's basketball team narrowly fell to the Rams of Framingham State in conference action this afternoon by a score of 65-60.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The game started with an early lead by the Rams that didn't last as the Falcons kept the game close until the closing minutes of the first. Nathaniel Semedo (Bridgewater, MA) carried the Falcons to a 28-27 lead going into the break with an impressive 18-point half.
The second half started with the Rams regaining the lead, extending it, and holding it until the final buzzer. Framingham pushed the lead out to 11 points with 12:45 left to play behind a big performance from their big man, Joshua Saint Jean, who had 19 points in the second half alone and five rebounds.
- Saint Jean topped the Rams with 29 points and nine rebounds, with five coming on the offensive glass. Kyle Philistin was the only other player to score double-digits for the Rams, finishing with 13 and five rebounds.
- The Falcons were paced by Semedo, who finished with a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds. Semedo and Jalin Pitts (Palatka, FL) were the two seniors honored today on senior day. Pitts had two hard Fought baskets for his four points, pulled in three rebounds, and dished out three assists.
