Ice Hockey Soars Past Rams In Conference Tilt
Millhorn finds the back of net twice for Green & Gold
Fitchburg, Mass. The Fitchburg State ice hockey team registered a 7-1 triumph over the Rams of Framingham State this afternoon in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action from the Wallace Civic Center.

How It Happened
Fitchburg State opened the scoring 5:09 into the opening period as sophomore Nicklas Millhorn (Brownstown, MI) gathered a feed from junior Trenton Skaggs (Oconomowoc, WI) and senior Samuel Rennick (Salisbury, MA) and deposited a shot into the left side of the net for his tenth marker on the season for the 1-0 edge.
The Falcons doubled the lead (2-0 five later when sophomore Hunter Dunn (Douglas, MA) buried a shot inside the lower near post for his eighth score of the 2024-25 campaign with assists from classmates Matteo Orme Lynch (Courbevoie, France) and Elowan Orme Lynch (Courbevoie, France).
The Green and Gold pushed the advantage to 3-0 at the 11:57 mark with E. Orme Lynch picking up a loose puck in front of the net and putting shot into the back of the net for his seventh tally on the year. The hosts upped the margin late in the frame when freshman Marcus Macchioni (North Kingstown, RI) received a pass from Dunn and senior Jack Johansen (Milford, NH) and slipped a shot inside the lower left corner for his third tally on the season to make score 4-0.
In the middle frame, Framingham State cut the deficit to 4-1 with just over a minute remaining in the stanza as senior Devante Dixon (Aurora, CO) settled a feed from freshman Devin Shepherd (Berkley, MA) and put a shot into the right side for his his second goal on the year.
Fitchburg State answered back fifty second later with senior Toivo Kramer (New York, NY) burying shot inside the far post for second marker off assists from Johansen and sophomore Alexandre Bauvais (Mendon, France) for the 5-1 edge.
In the third period of play, the Falcons secured the victory with Johansen and Millhorn potting markers in the span of 15 seconds, resulting in the 7-1 final
