Bourassa Named MASCAC Indoor Track Field Athlete Of The Week
Shirley, Mass. native collects second weekly accolade of the season
Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State junior Liam Bourassa (Shirley, MA) was recently tabbed Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Indoor Track Field Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.
Bourassa picked up his second weekly honor of the year after finishing third overall in the weight throw with an All-New England qualifying toss of 16.34 meters, while adding a second, DIII NE qualifying throw of 14.05 meters in the shot put for the Falcons at the 2025 Harvard Crimson Open on Saturday.
The Fitchburg State Men's Indoor Track & Field team returns to action on Sunday as they compete at the 2025 MASCAC Indoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by Wheaton College, starting at 3:30 PM.
