Men's Indoor Track Places 21st Overall At 2025 DIII New England Championships
Monette & Bourassa qualify for All-NE's in the weight throw
Boston, MA. – The Fitchburg State University men's indoor track & field team placed 21st overall with a total of nine points at the 2025 DIII New England Championships this weekend at the New Balance Track.

Senior Cameron Monette (Winchendon, MA) paced the Green and Gold, finishing fourth overall in the weight throw with an All-New England qualifying toss of 16.76 meters, while junior Liam Bourassa (Shirley, MA) placed fifth in the weight throw with an All-New England qualifying mark of 16.28 meters.
The 4000 meter distance medley relay team of freshman Brendan Guenard (Andover, MA), sophomore Keenan Ansah (Plymouth, MA), sophomore Brady Madigan (Ayer, MA) and newcomer Samuel Edwards (Townsend, MA) placed 24th overall with a time of 11:20.98, while in the long jump, Ansah posted a 29th place effort with a mark of 5.95 meters.
The 4x800 meter relay team of senior Taban Manok (Lynn, MA), Edwards. Madigan and Guenard turned in a 20th place time of 8:20.84, while sophomore Tyler Kwamo (Auburn, MA) placed seventh in the high jump with a mark of 1.85 meters.
Rounding out the top Falcon efforts on the day was the 4x400 meter relay team of sophomore Alvaro Castillo-Clottier Jr (Palmer, MA), classmate Jesse Moriello (Saugus, MA), sophomore Keenan Ansah (Plymouth, MA) and classmate Derrick Tawiah (Worcester, MA) finished 24th overall with a time of 3:34.48.
