White Earns Defensive Player of the Week
FITCHBURG, MA: Fitchburg State men's soccer freshman Tristain White (Tewksbury, MA) was recently named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) men's soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
White recorded 12 saves with a .923 save percentage and a 0.50 GAA during a 1-0-1 week for the Falcons. He made 11 saves in a 1-1 draw with Salem State and added another save in a 1-0 shutout of Regis College. Following last week's performances, White's season record stands at 2-2-1.
The Fitchburg State men's soccer team is back in action Tuesday in a non-conference game against Colby-Sawyer College at Elliot Field at 7 PM.
