Men's Cross Country finishes Third At 2024 Pop Crowell Invite

Wenham, MA – The Fitchburg State University men's cross country team placed third overall with a total of 88 points at the 2024 Pop Crowell Invite this morning, hosted by Gordon College.

How It Happened
Senior Taban Manyok (Lynn, MA) paced the Falcons, finishing third overall with a time of 26:34 over the 8K course, while sophomore Michael Burns (Worcester, MA) was next for the Green and Gold, placing sixth with a time of 27:26
Freshman Samuel Edwards (Townsend, MA) followed in 17th place with a time of 28:31, while sophomore Joshua Lancaster (Holden, MA) entered the chute in 23rd place with a time of 29:23.
Rounding out the seven finishers for Fitchburg State were sophomore Jesse Moriello (Saugus, MA) (47th), graduate student Andrew Bedard (Rutland, MA) (52nd) and senior Casey LaCombe (South Hadley, MA) (55th) with times of 30:58, 31:32, and 32:06 respectively.
