North Dartmouth, MA – The Fitchburg State University men's cross country team placed 32nd overall with a total of 927 points at the 2024 UMass Dartmouth Invite this afternoon.

How It Happened
Junior Michael Burns (Worcester, MA) led the way for the Green and Gold, placing 120th overall with a time of 27:01.03 over the 8K course, while senior Taban Manyok (Lynn, MA) followed in 156th place with a time of 27:30.56.
Freshman Samuel Edwards (Townsend, MA) was next into the chute with a time of 28:38.35, while sophomore Joshua Lancaster (Holden, MA) notched a time of 29:52.33.
Rounding out the seven finishers for Fitchburg State were graduate student Andrew Bedard (Rutland, MA) (30:31.27), freshman Brendan Guenard (Andover, MA) (30:53.07) and sophomore Jesse Moriello (Saugus, MA) (31:38.89).
