Lynn, Mass. native collects first weekly accolade of the season

Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State senior Taban Manyok (Lynn, MA.) was recently selected Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

The fourth-year Falcon notched his first weekly honor of the year after placing second overall for the Green and Gold with a time of 27:10.80 at the 2024 Founding Tree 8K, hosted by Hampshire College to help guide Fitchburg State to a second place finish on Saturday.

The Fitchburg State Men's Cross Country team returns to action on Saturday as they compete at the 2024 Keene State Invitational, starting at 12:00PM.
