Men's Cross Country Places Sixth At James Earley Invitational
Manyok paces Falcons with sixth place time of 26:23.98
Westfield, MA. – The Fitchburg State University men's cross country team placed sixth overall with a total of 194 points at the 2024 James Earley Memorial Invitational, hosted by Westfield State at Stanley Park this morning.

How It Happened
Senior Taban Manyok (Lynn, MA) led the way for the Green and Gold, placing sixth overall with a time of 26:23.98 over the 8000M layout, while junior Michael Burns (Worcester, MA) followed in 25th place with a time of 27:41.39.
Freshman Samuel Edwards (Townsend, MA) was next into the chute, registering a 42nd place time of 28:17.31, while senior Joshua Lancaster (Holden, MA) notched a 75th place time of 29:33.05.
Rounding out the top seven finishers for the Green and Gold were senior Casey LaCombe (South Hadley, MA), freshman Brendan Guenard (Andover, MA) and senior Aidan Cattelan (West Hartford, CT) with times of 30:24.66, 31:06.91 and 31:43.42 respectively.

- Dylan Beggins of Roger Williams won the 2024 James Earley Invitational with a time 25:33.24
- Wesleyan won the 2024 James Earley Invitational with a total of 32 points.
