MASCAC All-Conference Team Announced

Fitchburg, Mass. Fitchburg State junior Michael Burns (Worcester, MA), freshman Samuel Edwards (Townsend, MA) and senior Taban Manyok (Lynn, MA) were named to the 2024 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men’s Cross Country All-Conference Team as announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon.

Edwards named Men's Cross Country Rookie of the year

Fitchburg, Mass. Fitchburg State junior Michael Burns (Worcester, MA), freshman Samuel Edwards (Townsend, MA) and senior Taban Manyok (Lynn, MA) were named to the 2024 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Cross Country All-Conference Team as announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon.

Edwards led all Falcon honorees as he was named the 2024 MASCAC Rookie of the Year after placing eighth overall at the 2024 MASCAC Men's Cross Country Championships with a time of 26:55.80 in addition being selected to the 2024 MASCAC Men's Cross Country All-Conference Team.

Joining Edwards on the All-Conference Team were Manyok and Burns. Manyok was the top finisher for the Green and Gold at the 2024 MASCAC Men's Cross Country Championships, placing second overall with a time of 26:25.66, while Burns placed tenth overall with a time of 27:01.66.

Falcons return to action next Saturday, November 16th as they compete at the 2024 New England Regional Championships, starting at 11:00AM at the Hopkinton State Fair Grounds.
