Field Hockey Falls to Keene State

THE BASICS:

- Records: Keene (6-0), Fitchburg (3-2)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

- After a scoreless first quarter, the Owls finally scored in the 29th minute with a goal by Elyse Picard, assisted by Belle Hemond. Keene ended the half with a 1-0 lead.

- The second half featured two third-quarter goals by Grace Bazin, bringing her season total to 11th and 12th. Belle Hamond contributed her second assist of the day. The game ended with the fourth and final goal in the closing quarter, again scored by Bazin for her hat trick.

- Clara Gorman earned the win (6-0) in net for the Owls after facing just one shot on goal, which she saved. Isabella Corcoran (Braintree, MA) took the loss (3-2) after facing 16 shots and making 12 saves.
