Men's Outdoor Track Places 19th At 2025 All-New England Championships
Bourassa places second in javelin
Amherst, MA. – The Fitchburg State University Men's Outdoor Track & Field team finished 19th overall at the 2025 All-New England Championships with a total of eight points, hosted by UMass Amherst today at the UMass Track & Field.

Junior Liam Bourassa (Shirley, MA) led the way for the Green and Gold, finishing second in javelin with toss of 65.30 meters, while placing 20th in the shot put (13.77M), 13th in hammer throw (51.12M0 and 13th in the discus (46.36M), while senior Cameron Monette (Winchendon, MA) placed 20th overall in the hammer throw with a toss of 44.90 meters.
The 4x100 meter relay team of sophomore Alvaro Castillo-Clottier Jr (Palmer, MA), classmate Jaiden Madden (Lynn, MA), sophomore Derrick Tawiah (Worcester, MA) and sophomore Jesse Moriello (Saugus, MA) turned a 19th place time of 44.53 seconds, while sophomore Keenan Ansah (Plymouth, MA) placed 19th in the 400 meter with a time of 49.97 seconds.
