Springfield, MA. – The Fitchburg State University women’s cross country team finished 17th overall at the 2025 Western New England Golden Bear Invitational with a total of 443 points this morning, hosted by Western New England University.

Senior Skye Goba (Norton, MA) led the way for the Falcons, placing fifth overall with a time of 23:19.55  over the 6K layout, while junior Alexis Toste (Dracut, MA) (115th) crossed the line with a time of 29:53.89.

Freshman Dehkontee Cooper (Haverhill, MA) (159th) followed with a time of 40:02.51, while sophomore Arieyana Robinson (Worcester, MA) (160th) entered the chute at 40:02.51. Senior Cassandra Israelson (Saugus, MA) rounded out the top finishers for the Green and Gold with a time of 40:22.53 (161st).
