Fitchburg State Athletics is seeking to increase the number of student workers and interns to assist with game day operations and communications. We are looking for work study, trust fund, and interns to fill positions for: 

• Sports Broadcasting 
• Video Editing 
• Stream Production
• Digital Media Creation
• Photography / Videography

Sports Broadcasting, Stream Production: Seeking individuals passionate about sports commentating and broadcasting, dedicated to learning the responsibilities of a college sports play-by-play/color commentating and production. Employees will work alongside FSU staff and contractors to provide technical support, play-by-play/color commentary, and graphics creation for our home game broadcast. They will also learn the setup of home game broadcasts. Other tasks may be assigned based on need and the employee's interest.  

Essential Functions: 

• Assist in broadcast setup at home games  
• Research and prepare the home and away teams 
• Update graphics and overlays in Production Truck software for in game use 
• Commentate on home games 

Qualifications & Requirements: 

• Knowledge of the rules of the sports offered at FSU 
• Proper on-air etiquette and professionalism 
• Organized, detail oriented, and accountable 
• Ability to work nights and weekends 

Digital Media Creation, Video, and Photography: Seeking individuals passionate about content creation and dedicated to learning the responsibilities of a college sports content creator. They will work alongside the FSU Sports Information Staff to create and upload digital content to social media platforms. In this position, you will have the opportunity to photograph and film home games, edit digital content, and create graphic designs on Gipper. Other tasks may be assigned based on need and interest. 

Essential Functions: 

• Provide photography and videography for Athletics and sports teams 
• Work in iMovie Software to edit content, providing graphic design work, including conference awards, weekly awards, and other graphic needs of the sports information staff.  
• Assist in social media management for athletics. 
• Assist in editing, naming, and organizing all sports photography on a digital database 
• Assist in content generation and operation

Qualifications & Requirements: 

• General knowledge of social media strategy 
• General knowledge in photography, videography, content creation, or graphic design. 
• Organized, detail-oriented, and accountable 
• Ability to work nights and weekends
