Men's Outdoor Track Excels At MIT Final Qualifier

Cambridge, MA. – The Fitchburg State University Men's Outdoor Track & Field team competed at the 2025 MIT Final Qualifier this afternoon at the Sherie & Don Morrison Track.

Junior Liam Bourassa (Shirley, MA) paced the Green and Gold, finishing third overall in the shot put with a throw of 14.57 meters, while finishing fourth in the hammer throw (51.57M) and eighth in the discus (44.57M).
Senior Cameron Monette (Winchendon, MA) finished sixth over in hammer throw with a toss of 48.41 meters, while in the javelin, sophomore Colin Anderson (South Weymouth, MA) turned in an 11th place throw of 50.97 meters.
