Women’s Volleyball Blanks AMCATS
FITCHBURG, MA: The Fitchburg State women's volleyball team beat the AMCATS of Anna Maria College in MASCAC action in three straight sets this evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Falcons exploited an error-prone AMCATS team, resulting in 11 service aces by FSU and 19 attack errors, along with 11 reception errors by Anna Maria. This made Fitchburg's night on offense and defense much easier, as most of what they sent over the net didn't come back. Gwynneth Norman (Keene, NH) led the Falcons with 10 kills. Mia Vestal (Wilmington, MA) distributed 14 assists, and Sydney Nortelus (Cambridge, MA) recorded a team-high 11 digs.
- For the AMCATS, Lauren Decoteau led with five kills on 17 attempts and five errors. Gia Hill set for Anna Maria, providing 12 assists. On defense, Vanessa Guimaraes led the team with 11 digs.
