Guevara Mateo Selected MASCAC MXC Runner & Rookie Of The Week
Cambridge, Mass. native nets fourth conference weekly accolade
Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State Men's Cross Country freshman Paulino Guevara Mateo (Cambridge, MA) was recently selected Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Cross Country Runner & Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.
Guevara Mateo collected his fourth weekly honor of the season after placing second overall at the 2025 James Early Invitational with a time of 25:30.10 over the 8K course, hosted by Westfield State on Saturday.
The Fitchburg State Men's Cross Country team returns to action on Saturday as they compete at the 2025 Western New England Invitational, starting at 11:00AM.
