Women’s Soccer Falls to Keene State

FITCHBURG, MA: The Fitchburg State women’s soccer team fell to the Owls of Keene State this afternoon in non-conference action, 3-0.

FITCHBURG, MA: The Fitchburg State women's soccer team fell to the Owls of Keene State this afternoon in non-conference action, 3-0.

THE BASICS:

- Records: Keene (5-4-6), Fitchburg (1-10-2)

HOW IT HAPPENED:

- After a scoreless first half, the Owls found their rhythm early in the second half. The first goal came in the 47th minute when Bryn Dickinson scored her second of the season after receiving a pass from Elizabeth Tschudin. Tschudin then added her own goal in the 48th minute on a breakaway, set up by a great pass from teammate Allison Kenyon. The final goal was scored in the 56th minute, with Kenyon continuing the trend of goal-scorers with assists, netting her third of the season from Kylie Papoza.  

- Riley Andriski got the win (5-2-5) in net for the Owls after making three saves. Cassandra Pendleton (Ware, MA) suffered the loss (0-1-1) with three goals allowed and five saves. Madison Dawkins (Haverhill, MA) started the game, keeping the Owls scoreless through the first 45 minutes. She finished her time with four saves.
