Football Held Scoreless by Mass Maritime
BUZZARDS BAY, MA: The Fitchburg State football team was defeated by the Buccaneers of Mass Maritime in MASCAC action this afternoon, 10-0.
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- There was very little scoring in this one. The Bucs started the game with a fake punt that extended the drive in which they later scored on the 11th play. That drive went for 71 yards and marked the only touchdown scored in the game. Chase Dombroski plunged into the endzone from three yards out, making it 7-0.
- The Bucs would tack on a field goal at 11:30 in the fourth quarter. Grayson Smith hit the 31-yard field goal to get the final score of 10-0.
- The Falcons were led defensively by Camren Topkin (New London, CT) with ten tackles and one sack. TJ Jones topped the Bucs with eight tackles and two sacks.
