MASCAC Ice Hockey All-Conference Teams Announced
Johansen selected to MASCAC All-Conference Second Team
Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State senior defensemen Jack Johansen (Milford, NH) was selected to the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Ice Hockey All-Conference Second Team as announced the conference Wednesday afternoon.
Johansen earned his first All-Conference selection after ranking third in goals with seven, first in assists with 16 and second in points at 23 in addition, Jack collected three power play markers and two games over 26 games played for the Green and Gold thus far.
The Fitchburg State ice hockey team recently capture its third MASCAC Ice Hockey post-season tournament championship with a 3-1 win over the eighth seeded Trailblazers of MCLA on Saturday evening as will travel to Utica College to take on the Pioneers of Utica College in opening round action of the 2025 NCAA DIII Ice Hockey Post-Season Tournament, starting at 1:00PM.
