Volleyball Bested by Vikings
SALEM, MA: The Fitchburg State women's volleyball team lost to the Vikings of Salem State in MASCAC action this evening, 3-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Salem had a strong offensive showing, with each set featuring double-digit kills. Leading in that area was Presley Shairs, who recorded a match-high 13 kills. Celia Carbone played a key role in their offense, delivering 36 assists. Gianna Mahoney led defensively with 21 digs.
- The Falcons once again rallied late in the match, but were unable to carry the momentum into the fourth set. The Falcons' offense was paced by Stephanie Sardella (Billerica, MA), with 12 kills and 18 digs. Madison Keohane (Wakefield, MA) led the setters with 14 assists and 13 digs. Sydney Nortelus (Cambridge, MA) anchored the back row with a team-high 19 digs.
